Unpacking your new tree

Congratulations on your new addition!

Much love, care and time was spent in creating your custom wire-art tree and insuring it traveled well! For this reason, time and care will also need to be taken in unpacking it. After that no sun or watering are required!

What you will need:

You will need sharp scissors and a utility knife. And maybe a glass of wine and patience!

First step:

Make a shallow slit from top to bottom on the box through the packing tape then across the top and bottom on the front of the box so you can see the tree.

There will be rolled up paper and/or bubble wrap holding the shape of the tree. Gently remove those first!

You will see the base of the tree is wrapped in pink bubble wrap. There are several wide strips of packing tape sealed across the bubble wrap and attached to a base of cardboard, which is also attached to the bottom of the box.

Set the tree free!

Use the utility knife to first slit the tape attaching the piece of cardboard to the box. This will release the tree/base wrapped in pink bubble wrap to be slid out of the box. (You may need to slit the other side of the box to cut that side at the base but try not to let the sides of the box collapse on to the wires of the tree).

Once you have slid the tree out, use scissors to gently cut the tape holding the bubble wrap to the bowl, being careful not to scrape the bowl.

How do the branches and blossoms look?

If the branches or blossoms are bent or funky you can gently bend them back into shape using 2 fingers. Go slowly. Don’t uncurl or pull on the coiled-up blossoms! They don’t go back once pulled out.

Not quite right??

If something doesn’t look right, and you can’t figure it out, no worries! Please call me and we can do FaceTime or Zoom and tweak it together! Just email or text me to set up a time and we will make it look perfect!
